Phase 2 (6 weeks to 3-1/2 months) to early Phase 6 (14 to 24 months) Materials:
plastic CD promotional
holders (AOL sends a lot of these out), photos of interest to infants and
toddlers (family members, themselves, animals, etc.) How to make:
Simply remove the promotional papers from the container and insert your photos. Activity:
The youngest children can simply look at them on the floor.
Mobile infants will hold in their hands while toddlers will carry them
around with them. The photographs
will spark language. Variations: Mount photos on foam core or poster board and cover in clear contact paper.
